Southampton Vs Machester City Match Prediction

    Southamton Team News

Oriol Romeu serves the second of a two-match ban and with Steven Davis a doubt, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg could start alongside Jordy Clasie once more.

Claude Puel is without Matt Targett, Charlie Austin, Alex McCarthy and Virgil van Dijk due to injury here, while Manolo Gabbiadini and Sofiane Boufal are doubts.

Puel could name an unchanged XI for the welcome of Manchester City.

After sitting out the 3-1 win over Hull, Fernandinho could come back into the side, as may Kevin De Bruyne, with Fabian Delph and Yaya Toure both dropping out of the XI.

Vincent Kompany is hoping for another start having been an unused sub at the weekend, while Claudio Bravo will perhaps retain his place in goal.

Pep Guardiola, however, is once more without Ilkay Gundogan, Gabriel Jesus and Bacary Sagna

    Predictions

Southampton secured an impressive 1-0 win at West Brom lifted them to within four points of the Baggies and Saints will hope to close the gap here. The south coast side have lost just one of their last six in the Premier League and one of their last five home league meetings with Manchester City.

3-1 win over Hull ended a four-match winless run for Manchester City, who will now look to push on in their bid to secure a top-4 finish. They have failed to win their last two on the road and the trip to Saints won't be an easy one to navigate.

As such, a draw is on the cards in Saturday's evening encounter.

Manchester city is not in anyway winning this match, the best result they can get is draw. I am tipping southampton to win or they play draw but not seeing City coming out with 3 points.

    Lets watch and see.
